COSTA MESA, CA, March 00, 2006 – Cindy and Allan Stokke of Stokke & Riddet, APC, and the law firm of Rutan & Tucker LLP will be honored at the annual Jurisprudence Awards Dinner presented by the Anti-Defamation League Orange County/Long Beach (ADL), Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Island Hotel (formally the Four Seasons) in Newport Beach.
This year's honorees are recognized as leaders within the legal community because of their many exemplary contributions. The Stokkes will be presented with the Marcus M. Kaufman Jurisprudence Award for their commitment to civic activities and continued dedication to the mission of the League.
The Jurisprudence Award is given in memory of Supreme Court Justice Marcus M. Kaufman for his exceptional work and commitment both to the legal community and to the Orange County Judiciary. Since 1993, the ADL has bestowed this award on attorneys who make outstanding contributions to the legal profession and to the community. These attorneys further the League’s mission to ensure justice is available for everyone.
The law firm of Rutan & Tucker LLP is being honored with the ADL Community Leadership Award for its continued commitment, contributions, and dedication to diversity and the legal profession, and for its many outstanding civic activities. This marks the first time that a law firm has been chosen to receive an award from the Orange County/Long Beach region of the ADL.
Considered to be one of the shapers of Orange County because of its body of work with many prominent businesses and government agencies, the firm is celebrating 100 years of Rutan during 2006. In 2004, Rutan & Tucker was honored by the Public Law Center as “Law Firm of the Year.”
